Terms and Conditions
Team Bonding is a fully owned division of Social Life Pty Ltd. ABN 26 112 497 542. Social Life Pty Ltd is also the parent company of Sydney Venue, which is the preferred venue for Team Bonding events.
Team Bonding Partner Providers
Team Bonding maintains relationships with partners who are recognised experts in their fields. Whilst due care will be taken, clients undertake activities entirely at their own risk. Social Life Pty Ltd takes no responsibility or liability for any word or actions of its partner providers and bears no responsibility for any injury or damages sustained by clients whilst undertaking any activity.
Insurance and Risk
Team Bonding carries the appropriate public liability insurance for its low risk, low physicality activities. Should a participant be injured at a Team Bonding event, they must be covered by their employers' Work Cover insurance.
Booking a Team Bonding Event
A 20% deposit of total fees is required to secure a booking. This amount is due within 48 hours of the booking notification. We accept payment by credit card (including Amex, though this attracts a 3% service charge) or electronic funds transfer. The deposit will be credited against your final account.
Full Payment
Full payment must be made the day prior to the booking date, with additional charges requiring settlement within seven days of the event. Social Life Pty Ltd accepts payment by credit card or electronic funds transfer.
If payment is not made within 14 days of booking date, Social Life will invoice a further 20% of the total bill s as a late payment penalty. Subsequent bookings from any company that has made a late payment will need to be paid in full 7 days prior to the booking.
Wet Weather (Applies to Outdoor Activity bookings only)
Day or days before: If your day is forecast to be bad, or is bad the day before, Team Bonding will consult with you to decide if we go ahead or not. (Safety and comfort are the paramount concerns)
On the Day: If upon arriving at the venue or start point we decide not to go ahead Team Bonding will generally agree to re run the day, but will need to be compensated for any direct costs accrued on the original booked day. These will include contractor and staff wages, equipment hire, snack packs etc.
If both parties agree to postpone and no suitable re run date can be found, Team Bonding will retain your 20% booking deposit as a service fee and refund the balance (if already paid) or not charge the balance.
Cancellation
>> Full refund of deposit will be made if cancellation notice is received 60 days or more prior to booking
>> With 30 - 60 days notice 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
>> With 7 - 30 days notice of cancellation the deposit is not refundable.
>> With less than 7 days notice a further 30% of the fee will be invoiced to the client.
>> With less than 48 hours notice a further 50% of the full fee will be invoiced to the client.
>> Notice of cancellation can be given in writing (including email) or by phone.
Postponement (except wet weather)
One postponement per booking deposit is permitted if notice of postponement is received at least 7 days prior to original booking date. This facility is available once per booking and booking must be transferred to a firm date. Note, availabilities cannot be guaranteed and if a suitable date cannot be found date changes will be treated as per cancellations (terms above). Postponement terms only apply with more than 7 days notice. With less than 7 days notice cancellation terms apply.
Pricing of Team Bonding Events
Team Bonding pricing guidelines are quoted on the internet, but we reserve the right to revise these prices if any customisation is required or if out of pocket expenses are incurred in staging the activity. For example parking costs at client's venue, cost to ship equipment, prizes or damaged or lost equipment.
Consumption of Alcohol
Social Life Pty Ltd does not have a liquor licence and as such cannot supply alcohol in any form to clients. Clients are welcome to bring in and refrigerate any alcohol they may wish to consume as part of a Team Bonding activity.
