We've noticed from our trivia event that the logic and lateral thinking games are amongst the most popular. Combine that with brain training, clue solving, lateral thinking and puzzles and you have a brilliant team building event celebrating the cerebral.

Suits:  Whilst the puzzles are fun and the event is not just for nerds and geeks, a team disposition to enjoying problem solving is important.   So if that sounds like your team and you’re looking for a cost effective indoor activity that suits most group sizes, Brainiacs be perfect for you.

After a fun icebreaker game, your group will work in sub teams and compete on 6 - 8 brain training tasks, including some creative activities.  We will select the games according to time available and what your group will like:

The full team will interact to play most of the games and puzzles but in a few rounds teams will allocate individuals according to their strengths.

Game examples - team competition

• Wordles
• Lateral thinking
• Speed scrabble

• Observation / memory test
• Scavenger Hunt
• “Stranded” (team needs to decide what to keep if lost on a desert island)
• Fun wrap up is Tongue Twisters

Individuals can select to play in one of the following to play (on behalf of the team)

• Logic puzzles
• Numbers Teasers and Codes
• Word Games
• Spelling Bee
• Celebrity Gossip

Teams earn points each round, at certain point levels teams will “win” each digit to crack a safe.  First team to score enough points and crack the clues for all 4 digits will be first to open the safe and claim the prizes!

Details:

Duration: Brainiacs runs for around 2 hours with an optional break (sometimes people are too enthralled in their puzzles to stop).

Group size: Suitable for groups of 12 - 80

Cost:

12 - 25 pax $700 + GST

26 - 45 pax $850 + GST

46 - 80 pax $1,000 + GST

Includes: Preparation and planning plus 2 facilitators and novelty spot prizes. Price excludes venue, "real" prizes for the winning team (can be purchased if required) and travel outside the Sydney metropolitan area or direct costs associated with coming to you (generally only parking).
