"SO Glad You're Here"

The format of this fun team activity was inspired by a hugely popular TV show. Our partners, Ludic Creative, will work with you to create a unique evening of entertainment that is likely to be talked about for years to come. (And yes, a couple of brave souls will be put into that "hot seat"!)

Why Choose This Event?

The hit TV show "Thank God You're Here" utilises the "rules" of improvisational comedy with often hilarious results. To create your own version a few simple techniques will be explained to the group (incidentally, improvisation skills are a brilliant way to enhance everyday confidence!) and there will be a couple of warm up games.

Then the group will participate in (as players or audience) 2 - 3 pre prepared scenarios and finish off with an all in challenge that the group will be guided to improvise on the night.

How will it Work?

Ludic Creative will have a discussion with the team manager ahead of time to prepare the scenarios, as there may well be some recognisable company "quirks" they can use as material!. Staging and costuming will be kept very simple and a few team members may be used in the ensemble cast (these would have the benefit of a short briefing beforehand). The manager will nominate which of their team members are most temperamentally suited to "walking through the curtain"!

Who Runs This Event?

Cindy Tonkin and Richard Bennett are Ludic Creative - experienced improvisers with business background. Cindy Tonkin is the Consultants' Consultant. Her background in accelerated learning, NLP and more than 15 years experience in corporate consulting and training ensures the scenarios will be contemporary, fun and relevant. You're sure to learn with her extroverted interactive style.

Richard Bennett is an accomplished improviser and comedy performer, with a background in radio production, people management and technical mentoring. He has organised and presented at countless conferences and workshops in Australia and in the U.S., and is the director of both Scared Scriptless and the Cranston Cup, Sydney's only improvisational comedy shows.

Together Richard and Cindy run Ludic Creative - a professional services company providing focused entertainment and conference workshops using improvisation techniques.

Duration:  Entertainment around 1.5 - 2 hours. Team Bonding recommends that the team combines this with one of our fabulous dinner options.

Cost: Facilitation by Ludic Creative is $3,500 + GST and includes up to 6 experienced and talented comic improvisors to form the ensemble cast.

This does not include venue hire. Subject to availability this can be held at our preferred venue, Sydney Venue for up to 40 pax.
