Actor's Techniques for Presenters
Learn the Tricks of the Trade!

Today's demanding roles frequently require you to present to be a confident, engaging and effective communicator, able to win over a small or large audience with polished presentation skills and personal charisma.

Whether it’s a one to one interaction or presentation for a 1,000 people, this workshop will give participants a new skill set, increased self awareness and greater confidence to become strong, powerful and effective communicators.

Why Choose this Event?

Actors spend many years studying and learning skills to become the best performer they can be. Many actors are in fact introverted people, who with the aid of techniques are able to become confident, charismatic and intriguing characters.

This workshop will give participants some of the skills and secrets that actors use to overcome self-doubt and shyness, and blossom into self-assured and outgoing communicators.

How Will it Work?

Participants will start with a series of fun activities and warm up games to build a strong cohesive bond with all workshop participants. These activities are also designed to focus participants for the work ahead.

The workshop will explore the following areas:

1. General presentation skills, including; effective use of voice, eye contact, body language, movement on stage, use of visual aids and exploiting your personality.

2. Developing and extending listening skills. Real listening requires participants to read all verbal and non-verbal signals.

3. Focusing on the other person (or person’s) with whom you are communicating and learning to take the focus away from oneself.

4. Building a real empathy and thorough understanding for the other participant/s.

5. Setting goals and creating positive outcomes. Expecting victory before you’ve entered the room through the art of projection and self awareness.
