Icebreaker Games

We get lots of requests for an abridged version of our "Fun & Games", a 45min - 1 hour non competitive energiser to liven up your meeting or conference or as an add on to some of our other events.

Why Choose This Event?

This is a low key, casual and fun event that can be tailored to suit your requirements. A number of games are played with the full team.

We have a vast repertoire of games that can be tailored to suit your timing and requirements. They are fun, but virtually all have a team element involved. Here is an example of a 60 minute activity:

1. Full Group:
- Human bingo (10 mins) – a get to know others game
- Bumper cars - (5 mins) fun and fast moving, just a little "adolescent"
- All of my friends (5 mins) – an enjoyable fast moving game

2. Break into groups of 5 - 10
- Use a game to break into smaller group (under 5 mins) – this is a fun way to assign the groups
- Tangle (5 mins) – some logical thinking required
- “Line Up” game (10 mins) – easy, fast and fun
- Creative uses game (5 mins) – one minute to think of multiple uses for 5 everyday items
- Photo Essay game (10 mins) – teams are given digital camera and a list of things to photograph in 5 minutes.

This example uses a range of games, the other option is to stage 1 or 2 more complex games such as "egg transport device", "toxic waste", tangram puzzles or the well known "keypunch" game. There are many more to choose from, we also have trust games, strategic games and an hilarious array of games that have been inspired by the skills of improvised comedy.

This event is run by Team Bonding staff members, facilitated by Cate Richards. As one of our most casual activities the facilitation will be low key and friendly to ensure that your team really enjoys a light hearted activity in the right spirit.

Details:

Duration:  45 minutes to 75 minutes.

Location: This can be run either indoors or outdoors. An indoor room will need to be quite spacious and cleared of furniture, outdoor area should be flat and dry, preferably with cover.

Includes: Equipment, planning and facilitation of games plus staff supervisors. Excludes team prizes (can be purchased if required) and venue.

Group size: Not suitable for groups under 12 or over 60.

Additions: Reconnaisance and planning visit to a venue of your choice is $200 + GST (not generally required if the venue meets specifications)

Venue: Our own venue, Sydney Venue is and ideal conference / meeting venue to host groups up to 30, including icebreaker games. Fo larger groups we can suggest venues, and we are more than willing to travel to your venue, however please discuss your venue choice with Team Bonding as there are space requirements for this activity.
