Everyday Creativity

Creativity is one of the most essential skills in today's world. It is too easy in a busy workplace to overlook the critical need for creative problem solving and developing original ideas.

Outcome:

This highly entertaining workshop will equip your team with simple skills and infuse and enthuse your workplace with creativity and ideas.

Choose This If:

Your team is in a fast paced environment where problems and challenges are commonplace. If a dose of fun and laughter would revive their spirits.

Who is Leading:

This workshop is facilitated by Cate Richards, the director of Creative Mind, Team Bonding and Sydney Venue. Cate’s background is in marketing, advertising, facilitation and research. Always fascinated by creative ability, Creative Mind was founded after Cate devised a practical set of techniques that can turn anyone into an idea machine, unleashing their personal creativity.

This unique approach was honed amongst a wide range of teams, clients and issues. The technique showed great successes at generating original ideas to fill an undersold convention, revitalise the pizza market, name a new magazine, design a reality TV program and devise an amazing array of "money can't buy" prizes.

What to Expect:

The Everyday Creativity workshop features fun and invigorating creative “games”, simple daily behaviours that will unleash each team member's personal creativity plus exposure to a unique methodology that enables the team to generate a huge quantity of fresh, uninhibited ideas

  • Fun warm up games and ice breakers that bring creativity to the fore
  • Ways to enhance everyday creativity and be open to ideas and challenges
  • Application of the simple behaviours of creative people
  • “Play” with a range of proprietary tools and techniques that will generate masses of serious new ideas
  • Support team members by constructively building on their ideas
  • Evaluate ideas to uncover the hidden gems
  • (If required) Translate creative ideas into a program of activity to be delivered by the team

Everyday Creativity is particularly effective when the team has specific projects or issues to use as the starting point for the creative exercises. Cate will consult with the team leader ahead of time to determine areas for emphasis during the idea creation sessions.
