Mini Olympics

With the Olympics in Beijing such a thrill, Team Bonding was inspired to launch a fun "mini olympics" for large groups in the lead up period. Join us for this casual, low key event where your team can enjoy a little friendly competition in the great outdoors.

How will it Work?

The Team Bonding philosophy ensures our outdoor games are inclusive, light hearted and physical challenges are safe and limited to team members who volunteer for the task.

For the Mini Olympics the group will be divided into smaller teams of 6 - 12 people. Each sub team are a country, andthey will prepare a national "cheer" and time permitting create a flag and have an opening ceremony.

2 - 4 teams will compete at 3 main three main sports represented at separate "stadiums", with familiar events re-engineered to be light and fun and not physically challenging.

Upon arrival at the "stadium" teams will be briefed on all the medal events and team members will be asked to volunteer to compete in 2 - 4 events. When not competing, team members will be asked to cheer vigourously for their team members and will be given a team work score by facilitators. Teams will then rotate to the other stadiums and an overall medal tally will be kept.

"It's always hard to build in some fun and bond teams from front office with sales with limited time available. Your team did it! The whole team had a great afternoon full of action and team spirit. The Team Bonding personnel were efficient and fun. Would highly recommend"

Who Runs This Event?

This event is run by Team Bonding staff members. As one of our more casual activities the facilitation is friendly and fun.

Details:

We have used St Leonards Park, North Sydney, Centennial Park (charges apply), Lane Cove River Park (charges apply), Sydney Park Alexandria (a little exposed but very spacious) and West Pennant Hills Community and Sporting Centre. A reconnaisance visit charge ($100) applies for parks that we have not previously used, and we reserve the right to suggest an alternative if, upon viewing, the park is not suitable.

Wet Weather

Day before: If your day is forecast to be bad, or is bad the day before, Team Bonding will consult with you to decide if we go ahead or not. (Safety and comfort are the paramount concerns)

On the Day: If upon arriving at the venue or start point we decide not to go ahead Team Bonding will generally agree to re run the day, but will need to be compensated for any direct costs accrued on the original booked day. These will include contractor and staff wages, equipment hire, snack packs etc.

If both parties agree to postpone and no suitable re run date can be found, Team Bonding will retain your 20% booking deposit as a service fee and refund the balance (if already paid) or not charge the balance.
