Combine the power of voice, music and ideas and your whole team will be singing the same tune. Creating music together is a fun and highly beneficial team activity, as the power of music and performing can unite and harmonise your team.

The Corporate Idol event can be tailored to suit each group’s talents and singing ability.

A 3 - 4 hour session encompasses writing and recording a song, with musical backing tracks supplied by John. Participants first collaborate on song lyrics (which if desired may incorporate the company principles) before recording their original version of the song on professional editing equipment. The team’s artistic skills are then put to work designing a back cover for the album. This session also includes a photo shoot for the front and inside cover of the album.

Having recorded the “grand performance” John then returns to his studio to perform some post-production magic, with each team member later receiving their own professionally produced CD of the recording session featuring their photos on the CD cover.

Who Runs This Event?

Professional musician, songwriter and music producer John Benetts is your host for this activity. John is a 25 year veteran of the music industry and can draw parallels between the difficulties faced in a band with the challenges facing teams in the modern corporate environment.

John firmly believes that music is a universal language, capable of uniting, inspiring and motivating a team. John will have your team literally "singing from the same songsheet"
