Who is Leading:

Kamal Sarma is Australia's leading teacher of Resilience.

Kamal Sarma has had the unique opportunity of growing up with both Eastern and Western influences. He led the life of a typical “Aussie kid” until the age of 13 when he was sent to finish his schooling in a monastery/ashram in India for 5 years. In the monastery he studied many world religions including Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism, in addition to his training in meditation and yoga.

After leaving the monastery Kamal returned to Australia to pursue an international business career in such industries as management consulting, biotechnology, venture capital and funds management.

Kamal has held senior positions in organisations including McKinsey and Company, Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals, AMP Capital Investors and St.George Bank.

Kamal’s presentation style is dynamic and highly engaging, while taking no nonsense approach. His techniques are motivational, extremely relevant and down-to-earth with practical steps to enhance personal mental resilience. It has been noted that Kamal has the ability to simplify the complex workings of the mind in an easily understood way. He offers practical advice on how to train your mind to face the many challenges we encounter daily.

Kamal Sarma is the author of the book Mental Resilience: The Power of Clarity – How to develop the focus of a warrior and the peace of a monk. This book is uniquely designed for executives, taking them through a step-by-step approach on developing mental resilience.

What to Expect:

Participants are trained to develop and investigate their reactions to challenging or difficult situations . The ability to see the reality clearly while remaining calm, relaxed, and focused helps them to learn to respond with intent instead of reacting in an detrimental way. Participants who become skilled at and master these techniques are better able to:

The focus of the course is to experience deep levels of calm and resilience. The workshop is designed to be experiential and participative.

Each participant will be provided with a tool kit so that they can continue their practice at home.
