General Suggestions Please note; Team Bonding is not affiliated with any of these venues, we are only making suggestions based on our experience to date. We cannot personally vouch that these venues will meet your quality, pricing or service expectations.
Your own workplace is a possibility if you have a large “hub” style kitchen or cafe.
There is no central portal for these facilities so you need to google your council area with either “community centres” or “venue hire” (eg North Sydney Council community centres or North Sydney council venue hire).
This link is an excellent starting place: City of Sydney Community Venues (Includes City, Rocks, Alexandria, Surry Hills, Erskineville, Newtown) Kuring gai Council has a number of venues that are suitable for cooking: See this link here Kuringai Council Venues and click through the various halls listed to find one that suits. HereHere is a link to facilities run by Waverley Council Here is a link to facilities run by Pittwater Council Here is a link to facilities run by Manly Council Church Halls & Scout Halls For church halls it is probably best to contact your local church directly through the Whitepages. For Scout Halls, some councils have appropriate contact details, or “google” might help you if you have a certain area in mind. Likewise many schools have good school halls and might appreciate some extra revenue! |

Cook Up a Storm: It is difficult to find suitable venues for this activity as most venues which prepare food are not keen to give up that revenue. As well as a venue, we require the following; crockery, cutlery, glassware for your group as well as tables, chairs for a dining room and extra trestle tables to form the “kitchen”. (We can organise for these to be hired for a small service fee) We bring pots and pans, cooking tools, an oven and hotplates plus all the food. We do need some fridge space and a decent sized kitchen, preferable a commercial kitchen with a dishwasher. A small workplace kitchen simply wouldn’t cope with the washing up. As you are cooking inside so need to be able to open doors or windows and cover or disable smoke alarms. It is important that the sprinklers are the (most common) type that are only set off if the whole room temperature goes over 60 degrees (ie sprinklers don’t go off if hit by a flame up). If the venue has a liquor licence (for eg Vibe Hotel), you are generally required to order a beverage package. Cocktail Making: This must be an easily accessed BYO venue that will allow this activity.
We require access to a kitchen for washing up, at least 1 - |
