In most circumstances, events will proceed as planned in light rain or showers. Where necessary, reasonable adjustments may be made to ensure participant comfort and safety, including (but not limited to) relocating checkpoints to sheltered areas, providing alternative routes, or allowing shortcuts for participants who are unwell or uncomfortable.
Weather conditions are monitored prior to the event. If the forecast is deemed unfavourable, Team Bonding will consult with the client to discuss available options. These may include postponing the event to an alternative date (subject to the cancellation policy below) or converting an outdoor event to our indoor “Game Show” format, provided a suitable venue can be sourced. Additional costs may apply. Alternatively, the event may be hosted at the client’s office, where feasible.
The 20% deposit is non-refundable. However, this deposit may be retained as a credit towards a future Team Bonding event.
Final numbers are due 72 hours prior to event and will be invoiced on this amount.
If a booking is changed, cancelled, or postponed within 72 hours of the scheduled event start time, Team Bonding reserves the right to invoice the client for any staff costs, supplier fees, or out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of the change.
All Kombi, Murder Mystery, Cocktail Events, and Drag Queen Bingo bookings are final and cannot be refunded or transferred. Requests for changes must be submitted in writing no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled event and are subject to approval. Any approved changes may incur additional fees.
For postponed events, the deposit will be held for a period of up to 12 months from the original booking date. During this period, the client may rebook the event, subject to availability. Please note that pricing may change during this time, and the event will be invoiced at the current applicable rates at the time of rebooking.
Bookings may be made via email or phone. Once the client confirms their intention to proceed, Team Bonding will issue an invoice for the non-refundable 20% deposit.
Approximately 7–10 days prior to the event, the client will receive a detailed event briefing, including the meeting location, balance invoice, and any items required to be brought on the day.
All Virtual events are to be paid in full at time of booking, Drag Queen Bingo and Virtual Cocktail Classes are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Team Bonding is happy to assist in securing venues for event finishes or for hosting Team Bonding activities. However, Team Bonding accepts no liability for venue cancellations, double bookings, or changes made by the venue.
All venue-related costs, including booking fees, will be passed on to the client and remain the client’s responsibility. Credit Card details may be required and kept on file until event has been settled and concluded to cover all venue related costs.
Any photographs or videos taken during the event remain the property of Team Bonding. Team Bonding reserves the right to use this content for marketing and promotional purposes, including on its website and social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).
If the client or any participant does not consent to the use of such material, written notification must be provided prior to the event. In the absence of such notification, consent will be deemed to have been granted.
Team Bonding staff carry basic first aid kits and hand sanitiser. All facilitators have mobile phones, and all events are conducted in locations accessible by emergency services. Team Bonding hold 20mil Public Liability insurance.
Team Bonding is not liable for any lost, stolen or misplaced personal items.
General wear and tear to equipment is expected during events. However, if equipment is intentionally damaged, stolen, or misused, Team Bonding reserves the right to charge the client for the repair or replacement cost of the affected items.
Some events involve third-party suppliers and event partners. In certain circumstances, supplier costs may change due to updated pricing or amendments to event requirements. Team Bonding reserves the right to pass on any such cost increases to the client should they arise.
Payment of the non-refundable 20% deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
